Come Dine With Us at The Printers Arms

The Printers Arms, Denshaw
On Wednesday 24th February we held our Come Dine with Us evening at The Printers Arms Denshaw.
The evening proved to be a popular choice with the event being fully booked up within a week of advertising, which could possibly be due to the impressive menu that was on offer and the reputation of The Printers Arms for offering restaurant quality food at reasonable prices.
On arrival there was a lovely coal fire burning, which was a welcome sight as we had seen a covering of snow that day.
Gary and his staff were professional and attentive and greeted everyone warmly on arrival. Guests were then seated at their tables and drink orders were taken with a minimum of fuss.
Service of the meal went without a hitch even though each table was full to capacity.
Food was beautifully presented and served hot. Menu choices at my table included the Smooth Chicken Liver Pate, which was rich and tasty served with fresh bread and salad.
The Rump of Lamb was the star of the show for me; the lamb was beautifully tender, cooked pink and full of flavour, accompanied by dauphinoise potatoes and vegetables.
Also received well at my table was the generous portion of Supreme of Salmon served with a lime crust, new potatoes and vegetables, the salmon being moist and flavoursome.
Desserts of Crème Brulee and Hot Apple and Strawberry Crumble with Custard finished off a rather enjoyable evening.
The whole atmosphere of the evening was lively and bubbly with everyone who attended enjoying the food and surroundings.
Feedback from our diners was excellent and we are happy to be going back on Wednesday 27th April for a return evening at The Printers Arms which I’m sure will be as popular and well received as this one.
