Oldham complete eye-catching Kopczak signing

Ambitious Oldham Rugby League Club has taken its number of new signings for 2024 to 13 with the capture on a two-year deal of 36-year-old Featherstone Rovers prop Craig Kopczak, one of the biggest and most experienced forwards in the Betfred Championship.
Before joining Rovers three years ago, Kopczak had spent most of his career in Super League with Bradford, Huddersfield, Salford and Wakefield,
He said: “I’m coming to provide leadership and experience, having played in big games and in Super League for more than 15 years."
Oldham will have a fans’ forum at Boundary Park on Tuesday, November 7 at 8pm.
In the firing line will be chairman Bill Quinn, managing director Mike Ford, the other three directors, the still-to-be-announced new coach and his three assistants, Brendan Sheridan, Jordan Turner and Joe Wardle.
The following week Ford and Latics owner Frank Rothwell will share the stage at Royton Cricket Club on the evening of Thursday, November 16 at a “getting to know you” session for local sports lovers.
