Go-ahead Oldham Rugby League Club, who plan to develop a new training base in nearby Chadderton, have signed former Widnes Vikings and Newcastle Thunder prop Jay Chapelhow (28) on a two-year contract.
He is the tenth player to join Oldham for 2024 or beyond, six of whom are forwards including Joe Wardle from Leigh Leopards and Josh Johnson from Bradford Bulls.
“I wanted to join a club with drive and ambition and Oldham certainly have those,” said the former Super League forward.
