Littler names 21-man squad for massive Dewsbury clash

Roughyeds boss Stuart Littler has named an unchanged 21-man squad for Sunday’s massive game against frontrunners Dewsbury Rams at the Vestacare Stadium (3pm kick off).
For the first time this year, it’s as you were for the game, which will be played in front of a capacity crowd after the board waived admission prices.
Oldham are unbeaten at home so far this year, and opponents Dewsbury have a 100% record in League One – so something has to give in Sunday’s showdown.
Making his return to the Vestacare will be Owen Restall, who has continued his form with Dewsbury Rams this year and is the top try-scorer in the league.
Roughyeds go into the game on the back of a gutsy 28-18 away victory over in wet and windy Workington, where they only took the lead in the final ten minutes.
Club captain Martyn Ridyard returned to the side, and his kicks in the second half helped swing the momentum in Oldham’s favour as they came back from 18-12 down.
He will be hoping to lead Roughyeds to their third consecutive victory, which would bring their league total to six wins out of seven as the club seeks a return back to the Championship.
The club is urging any fans who do not have a ticket for Sunday’s game against Dewsbury to not travel to the Vestacare to avoid disappointment.
Squad in full: Ah Van, Baker, Blagbrough, Brierley, Cameron, Hartley, Hirst, McNally, Meadows, Moran, Morgan, Nelmes, Newton, Paga, Ridyard, Slater, Thornton, Whittel, Wilkinson, Wilson, Yarrow.
