Oldham sign prop Moran
Date published: 12 May 2023

Front-rower Moran has also played for Warrington Wolves, Widnes Vikings, Rochdale Hornets, Sheffield Eagles, London Broncos and also Ireland
Oldham Rugby League Club’s new board, now led by businessman Bill Quinn (chairman) and former player-coach Mike Ford (managing director), has made its first signing with the capture of prop Pat Moran from French club Avignon.
The 25-year-old front-rower has also played for Warrington Wolves, Widnes Vikings, Rochdale Hornets, Sheffield Eagles, London Broncos and also Ireland when they were coached by Roughyeds’ current boss Stuart Littler.
Moran’s arrival coincides with the departures of second-row man Ethan Ferry and Welsh centre Calvin Wellington due to work commitments and university studies.
Meanwhile, in a bid to engage with new fans and to encourage stay-aways to return, Oldham’s home game against unbeaten leaders Dewsbury Rams on Sunday week, May 21, will be all-ticket but FREE for everybody.
