Under-16s go free again this year

Roughyeds head coach Stuart Littler
As Sunday’s League One home clash against London Skolars edges closer, Oldham RL fans are reminded that the club is once again offering FREE entry to under 16s.
The offer, which applies for all nine of our home games at the Vestacare Stadium, is in a bid to grow the sport and engage the next generation of fans.
“The kids are the future whichever way you look at it. Whether it’s future players, fans, coaches or even press officers,” said head coach Stuart Littler.
“We’ve got to engage them and make sure we are still current with people in the Oldham area.
"The more people we can get at games from the local community clubs and the local schools the better.
“The young ones will bring their parents or a guardian.
"Full credit to the board for the decision and it’s one I hope the public of Oldham get behind.
“We’re set to go on a journey this year and the more people we can take along with us the better”.
Littler has recruited strongly this year adding in experienced heads as the club looks to return to the second division.
During pre-season and in the Challenge Cup, Roughyeds have been in try-scoring form, providing excellent value for money.
It is a more open League One season than in previous years as clubs due to the strong recruitment of clubs such as Hunslet, Doncaster and Dewsbury with a frontrunner tough to pick out.
Our first opponents, London Skolars, will be looking to build on their six wins in 2022 and have kept a relatively similar squad with only three departures with several in from local amateur club London Chargers.
Admission prices for the London Skolars game will be £16 for adults, £5 for students (with proof of ID) and you can purchase tickets by clicking here
For seating, there is a £1 upgrade charge for adults and students with a £3 charge to under-16s due to the limited availability of seats.
