Oldham RLFC is re-hiring for a Head Coach to lead its new women’s team after previously being let down.
The club is now full steam ahead with plans for a women’s side after initial plans were announced last year.
The acquisition of the Melrose playing fields in Chadderton provides a perfect opportunity for the club to broaden its reach and further grow the sport in Oldham.
Said chairman Chris Hamilton: “This is an exciting opportunity as we look to grow the club and expand our links within the community.
“It’s been a massive year for the women’s game on the back of the World Cup, as well as increased coverage across the board and we want to be a part of that.”
Players are also encouraged to get involved with the club and register for training and anybody wishing to get involved, who is over 16, should contact the email address below or call 07904 898177.
The closing date for the Women’s Head Coach role is Friday week, February 10.
