OLDHAM Rugby League Club has re-signed its 'Shooting Star' in the 2022 season, namely 21-year-old utility back Kian Morgan, whose 11 tries in 15 games also earned him a player-of-the-year trophy as voted by fans.
The former Castleford Tigers and Halifax youngster was thrilled by his double helping of silverware.
"We have high hopes for Kian," said coach Stuart Littler, who named Morgan first winner of the club's new 'Shooting Star' trophy and said he had signed a new one-year contract.
He's the fourth member of the squad to re-sign for next year, behind Emmerson Whittel, Joe Hartley and Sean Slater.
