Brendan Sheridan promptly sent off a Dewsbury Celtic training top which he used when he was head coach there
Brendan Sheridan, coaching assistant to Roughyeds boss Stu Littler, has answered a Widnes Vikings appeal for help in their initiative to spotlight suicide and other mental health issues during their televised match against Halifax tonight (Monday).
The Vikings will display 120 rugby league shirts at the DCBL Stadium, marking the number of people around the world who will take their own lives during the course of the game - one every 42 seconds.
Clubs or individuals are being urged by Vikings to donate or to loan a rugby shirt for tonight’s initiative and Shez, a mental health volunteer worker with associations across the North-West, looked up memorabilia and promptly sent off a Dewsbury Celtic training top which he used when he was head coach there.
