AFTER four defeats in a row, Oldham Rugby League Club returned to winning ways today with a 66-0 demolition job on Midlands Hurricanes at the Vestacare Stadium.

The rampant Roughyeds ran in 12 tries to provide Stu Littler's men with their first win since they beat new club Cornwall 48-22 on April 24.

In so doing, they leap-frogged Hurricanes on the Betfred League One table and moved into seventh place at the half-way stage of the season, only four points and one place outside the play-off spots.

We are now looking for some consistency with the play-offs in our sights," said head coach Littler, whose in-form Roughyeds "nilled"  their opponents for the first time this year.

Half-back Robbie Butterworth, winger Joe Hartley and prop Jordan Andrade each scored two tries, while Dane Windrow, James Thornton, Owen Restall, Calvin Wellington, Connor Carr and Nyle  Flynn also scored with Martyn Ridyard landing nine conversions from a dozen attempts.
