Countdown to League One begins with pre-season friendly for Roughyeds

The opening game in Betfred League One is against the Cougars at the Vestacare Stadium on Sunday, March 27.

Oldham will play a pre-season friendly at Keighley on Sunday week, March 6 (3pm) in a dress rehearsal for their opening game in Betfred League One against the Cougars at the Vestacare Stadium, Oldham on Sunday, March 27.

Six members of the Roughyeds' 26-man squad have played for Keighley in the past -- forwards Emmerson Whittle, Jack Coventry, Ryan Wright, Jason Muranka and Jack Arnold as well as centre Will Cooke.

This Saturday, February 26, Oldham will have an opposed training run-out against Salford reserves, behind closed doors.
