Senior forwards Emmerson Whittel and Jordan Andrade return to a 21-man squad
Senior forwards Emmerson Whittel and Jordan Andrade, who missed Oldham RL Club's pre-season friendly against Wakefield because of Covid protocols, return to a 21-man squad for tomorrow's (Sunday) Betfred Challenge Cup second-round tie against amateurs Lock Lane at the Vestacare Stadium (6pm kick-off).
Big prop Andrade, a Jamaican international, is looking for a big 2022 season to win a place in the Jamaican squad for the World Cup later this year.
He is one of five Oldham players named in a squad leadership group by coach Stuart Littler, who will coach Ireland in the World Cup.
Second-row man Whittel was a key member of Oldham's 2019 promotion squad and he re-joined the Roughyeds after returning from two years in Australia where he played for Rockingham Sharks in Perth and then for Cairns Brothers in Far North Queensland.
