Again, Oldham kept opponents scoreless in the second half
For the second home game in a row, an Oldham side that was full of verve, energy and self-belief kept opponents scoreless in the second half when beating Halifax Panthers 16-12 at Bower Fold.
In their last home game they scored 18 unanswered points after half-time to beat Swinton Lions 28-20.
This time, they trailed Fax 12-4 at the interval, but stormed back down the slope to win 16-12 with a winning try four minutes from the end by on-loan centre Jack Croft, goaled beautifully from wide out by full-back Callum Green, who had a blinder.
Winger Tommy Brierley and sub forward Martyn Reilly also scored tries, with Green landing two goals from three attempts.
