Andy Wilson will work out of the RFL's office at Media City
Congratulations to Andy Wilson, a lifelong Oldham fan, who has started a new job as the Rugby Football League's Head of Media.
He will work out of the RFL's office at Media City, Salford Quays.
Formerly a writer on rugby league and cricket for The Guardian, Andy has been employed for the last four years in the communications department of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
His mother, Joy, is a Roughyeds' season-ticket holder and his father, Ian, is secretary of the Rugby Oldham Supporters Trust and the man who files match reports of Oldham home games to the rugby league trade paper, League Express.
The Wilson family support of Oldham RLFC can be traced back to Andy's grandfather, who was born in the town.
