Latics goalkeeper Magnus Norman has been forced to withdraw from this week’s England C squad due to injury.
Norman sustained a knee injury in training at the end of last week, ruling him out of Saturday's 1-1 National League draw at Dagenham and Redbridge.
He was originally named in England’s 16-man squad to take on Wales at Altrincham tomorrow (Tuesday), but has been unable to fulfil his place.
However, there will be a Latics representative in the squad.
Striker Joe Nuttall has received a late call-up by England due to the withdrawal of another forward.
Nuttall, who joined Latics from Scunthorpe in December, will now join up with the England party ahead of the fixture which will be played at Altrincham’s Moss Lane stadium (kick-off 7.45pm).
