Yarney's delight after extending Latics deal

Latics welcome FC Halifax Town to Boundary Park tomorrow
Josef Yarney has agreed an extension to his current deal at Latics and will remain at the club until the end of the 2023/24 season.
The 25-year-old joined Latics on a short-term deal at the start of January, having previously played for Morecambe and Chesterfield.
"I'm happy to get the deal done, as I've really enjoyed my time here over the last month," he said.
"We've got a couple of good results in the league, so hopefully we can carry that on.
"It's a hard league to deal with, but we've got a good set of lads in the changing room, there's a good atmosphere, and everyone's working really hard."
A former Everton and Newcastle youngster, Yarney made his Latics debut as a substitute in the 5-1 away win at Dorking Wanderers.
He has since played the full 90 minutes of both the York City and Aldershot Town games, scoring the opener in the former with a goal late in the first-half.
Yarney is set to feature again tomorrow as Latics host near neighbours FC Halifax Town in the National League.
David Unsworth's side, who are now two points clear of the drop zone thanks to two wins and two draws in their last four games, take on a Halifax outfit who are only four points above them in the table.
Chris Millington's side have suffered a major slump since Boxing Day, 2022, having picked up only one point from their last five matches.
Meanwhile, there will be a DJ in the Fan Bar before and after Latics' game against Halifax.
The bar opens at 12pm, with a range of drinks and food available, and live sport on the two big screens as Everton host Arsenal in the early kick-off.
A number of improvements have been made within the bar following opening in the summer and it proves to be increasingly popular with supporters ahead of home matches.
There is good capacity in the bar to welcome more fans and it is the ideal way to kick off a matchday with your friends at Boundary Park.
The bar can be accessed from behind the Joe Royle Stand.
