Unsworth seeking a league victory fillip after cup shoot-out progress

Latics welcome Yeovil Town to Boundary Park tomorrow
Latics boss David Unsworth will again go in search of a first outright victory since he took charge tomorrow as his side host Yeovil Town in the National League.
Latics tasted shoot-out success at Chester in midweek in the FA Cup after a 2-2 stalemate at the Deva Stadium.
However, it's been two losses and two draws in the four league games since Unsworth took over from John Sheridan.
The manager knows his latest coaching role was never going to be a straightforward one.
Said Unsworth: “It’s a massive job and I know exactly what we need, but that’s going to take an awful lot of time.”
Latics could have new forward player Conor Carty in their line-up tomorrow.
The 20-year-old joined Latics today (Friday) on a one-month youth loan from Bolton, having joined the Trotters in the summer following a five-year stay at Wolves.
“He’s a great young player who’s got an eye for goal, and a very powerful left foot," added Unsworth.
Chris Hargreaves' Yeovil are above Latics in the table, only on goal difference, and haven't won on the road all season.
Both clubs are just a single point outside the National League drop zone following inconsistent starts to the campaign.
Meanwhile, Latics' cup win at Chester has earned them a First Round Proper trip to Wrexham.
That tie has been selected for broadcast by ITV.
The match will now take place at the Racecourse Ground on Sunday, November 6 (kick-off 12.30pm).
