David Unsworth takes his Latics team to Maidenhead tomorrow
David Unsworth will bid to secure his first win in four games in charge of Latics when they face another long trek south tomorrow.
After defeats by Bromley and Wrexham, and a draw at home to Scunthorpe in midweek, Unsworth will take his new charges to Maidenhead tomorrow, where the two teams will meet for the first time ever.
Latics currently sit in 16th place in the National League table, while Maidenhead, who have ex-West Ham legend Alan Devonshire in charge, are a place and four points above of them.
Maidenhead's league position has improved over the past week thanks to hugely impressive back-to-back away wins at Chesterfield and Torquay respectively.
Meanwhile, Latics have announced the appointment of Mick Rathbone as Physiotherapist and Head of Conditioning.
The 63-year-old has nearly 30 years of experience in the sector, starting out with Halifax following his retirement from playing and spending a considerable period with Everton, before time on the medical staff at a host of clubs including Preston North End and Wigan Athletic.
