Latics head south to Bromley tomorrow
New Latics boss David Unsworth will bid to make a dream start to his tenure tomorrow (Saturday) as his squad head south to take on Bromley in the National League.
Unsworth took over from John Sheridan earlier this week, and has enjoyed some intense training sessions with his new charges since.
Tomorrow's trip to to the capital will see 14th placed Latics take on a Bromley outfit who are going well in seventh place under gaffer Andy Woodman.
They have won their last four matches at their Hayes Lane headquarters.
Unsworth said: "Bromley will be a really good game.
"I’m looking forward to that, and we’ll be ready for it.
“Our team will be very hard working, and we’ll give everything in every game to go and win.
"Not draw, not avoid defeat, go and win.
"That’s important to me.
“The club has already had massive wins with what the board is doing, and I’ve got to bring that to the team now.”
