Sheridan sure to receive an emotional send-off

Soon-to-be-departed Latics manager John Sheridan
The Boundary Park atmosphere is set to be emotionally-charged tomorrow as Latics fans bid farewell to manager and club legend John Sheridan.
The club announced yesterday (Thursday) that it was time for 'Shez' to step aside from his SIXTH stint as manager.
However, Sheridan has taken the opportunity to take charge of one final game before a new boss is appointed.
As well as being a huge favourite among Latics fans going back to his playing days, Sheridan latterly endeared himself to the faithful thanks to a couple of successful survival missions, affectionately known as 'Shezurrections'.
Latics currently languish in 16th place in the National League, however, with tomorrow's opponents, Lee Bradbury's Eastleigh, in 11th place.
David Unsworth is still the bookmakers' favourite to replace Sheridan as manager at Boundary Park, with Paul Scholes a 33/1 shot to make a dramatic return to his boyhood club.
It would be a first taste of full-time senior management for Unsworth if he was to be appointed, having had previous experiences as caretaker boss at Preston and Everton.
Meanwhile, Latics' away fixture against Boreham Wood has been rearranged for Tuesday, November 1 (kick-off 7.45pm).
The game at Meadow Park was due to take place last Saturday but was postponed following the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
