Gutsy Athletic stretched their unbeaten League Two run to three games as they secured a goalless draw at Yeovil Town last night (Tuesday).
The point lifted Frankie Bunn's side to within a couple of points of the play-off places in the early league table.
In a game of precious few opportunities at Huish Park, the best fell to Athletic midfielder Dan Gardner, who struck the post in the second half.
The Glovers - fresh from a superb 4-0 win at Notts County at the weekend - had the better of the chances in a laboured first half, with Omar Sowunmi forcing Daniel Iversen to push away his header from a Carl Dickinson free-kick.
Diallang Jaiyesimi then had some of the home fans celebrating as he showed quick feet and skill to break into the box, but his shot only hit the side-netting.
Athletic brought off Ishmael Miller for Jose Baxter at half-time and the change immediately told as Baxter and Johan Branger linked up to play in midfield man Gardner, who quickly turned before firing a shot off the inside of the post.
Sowunmi should have broken the deadlock with an even better opportunity after 69 minutes from another Dickinson free-kick, but he headed agonisingly wide after finding space in the box.
Athletic are next in action away at Morecambe on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Cheltenham Town have 'parted company' with manager Gary Johnson only four games into the new League Two season.
The club made the announcement following the 1-1 draw at Macclesfield, in which both sides picked up their first point of the campaign.
The 62-year-old ex-Cambridge United, Yeovil, Bristol City, Peterborough United and Northampton Town manager had been in charge since March 2015.
Assistant Manager Russell Milton has been placed in temporary charge.
