Athletic manager Frankie Bunn has further strengthened his squad with the signing of goalkeeper Daniel Iversen on loan from Leicester City.
The 21-year-old has signed on a season-long deal from the Foxes.
Iversen is a goalkeeper who has featured many times for Leicester’s development side and was the number one for their U23 Premier League 2 title challenge last season.
The Dane, who has represented his country at U21 level, has been on trial at Athletic and featured in the 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest.
He also made a number of impressive saves as well as keeping a clean sheet against La Liga side Girona in Athletic's 1-0 win.
Iversen will wear the number one shirt during his time at the club.
