Athletic have announced the signing of midfielder Giles Coke on a two-year deal.
Coke, tipped as a target on the Chronicle site last week, featured in the friendly against Ashton United last week and was on the scoresheet against Curzon Ashton on Saturday.
The 32-year-old came through the youth ranks at Queens Park Rangers before spells with Kingstonian, Mansfield Town and Northampton Town.
The midfielder impressed and signed for Sheffield Wednesday in 2010.
He made over 100 appearances in a five-year spell for the Owls, scoring six goals.
During his time at Hillsborough, Coke did spend time out on loan with Bury, Swindon Town and Bolton Wanderers.
He signed for Championship side Ipswich Town in 2015 before enjoying the latter part of last season with Chesterfield.
Coke will wear the number seven shirt during his time with Athletic.
