Seven out-of-contract players have been released by Athletic.
Discussions have taken place with all of the playing staff following the club's devastating relegation from Sky Bet League One at the weekend.
Athletic's 2-2 draw at Northampton wasn't enough as Rochdale's victory over Charlton enabled Keith Hill's team to jump out of the bottom four in dramatic final-day fashion.
Players immediately released by Athletic are Brian Wilson, Tope Obadeyi, Abdelhakim Omrani, Paul Green, Ollie Banks and youngsters Mason Fawns and Kallum Mantack.
New contract offers have been made to Jamie Stott and Ryan McLaughlin, while options have been taken on the contracts of Cameron Dummigan and Ousmane Fane.
Athletic chiefs are still in discussion with three players - Wilfried Moimbe, Jonathan Benteke and Gevaro Nepomuceno.
A statement on the Athletic club website, regarding the released players, read: "We would like to wish all players the best of luck in their careers and thank them for their service to the football club."
Defender Brian Wilson (34) is the longest-serving of the players to be released.
He joined Athletic on a free transfer from Colchester in the summer of 2014.
He made 127 appearances for Athletic, scoring twice
