Are you pregnant, or have you recently had a baby?
If so, you are invited to go along and meet midwives and volunteer mums who are part of a new forum - Rochdale and Oldham Maternity Voices - aimed at sharing feedback that will help improve materinity services in the two towns.
A special Rochdale and Oldham Maternity Voices launch event takes place this Friday, May 4, between 9.30-11.30am at the Shaw Children's Centre on High Street.
Sam Whelan, a Patient Experience Midwife, said: “We are excited to be supporting the launch of Rochdale and Oldham Maternity Voices Partnership.
"Maternity Voice Partnerships have been set up all across the UK with the aim of healthcare providers, women and their families working together to improve local maternity care.
"At the Rochdale and Oldham Care Organisations we value the experiences of women and their families and would encourage anyone who is interested to come along to Shaw between 9.30 and 11.30, meet some of the midwifery team and find out more about how they can be involved.”
