HERE is your chance to have a say on who should receive the Readers' Choice gong at the 2016 Pride in Oldham Awards.
Readers have always voted in their thousands for the chance to choose a worthy recipient at the event which has become a firm favourite in the borough since its inception in 2002.
All you have to do is complete the form in the Chronicle and send it to Pride in Oldham, Oldham Evening Chronicle, 172 Union Street, Oldham, OL1 1EQ or email with the name and number of your chosen nominee to editor@oldham-chronicle.co.uk with the keywords PRIDE IN OLDHAM.
You have until Thursday, November 3, to cast your vote. The three finalists will each receive certificates at the gala dinner at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on Friday, November 18.
Those who voted for the Readers' Choice winner will go into a draw for two free tickets for the event. The independent judging panel has now drawn up its shortlist of finalists and they will receive special invitations. Tickets have now gone on sale for the awards dinner (6.30pm for 7pm). Priced at £25 each for a night to remember at the 15th Pride in Oldham Awards, tickets are available from the Chronicle Promotions desk at our Union Street offices or by calling 0161-622 2130.
The night includes a three-course meal and a first-hand view of the awards that celebrate the people who go the extra mile for the borough and its people. Not to be missed.
