Oldham's Youth Mayor, Amber Powell, took time out of her busy schedule to visit pupils at Alexandra Park Junior School.
Amber was very inspiring in two assemblies, getting the children engaged in what's happening in the local area.
She talked about her role and the job she does.
Amber told the school pupils about the mayoral jewellery, and the importance of it.
The children loved meeting her, as did Alexandra Park's children's leadership team who had lots to ask her.
The school's CLT also showed the youth mayor around school.
The school's PSHE Co-Ordinator Samantha Nicholson-Hickling said: "We are really glad to have had the youth mayor with us in school.
"It was a real privilege to show her what our school does and the children loved meeting her.
"What an excellent role model she is."
