The leading local choir will offer an afternoon concert of 20th century French spiritual music
The Oldham Choral Society has announced details of its eagerly-anticipated afternoon of French music, which will take place on Sunday, November 19.
The leading local choir will offer an afternoon concert of 20th century French spiritual music: Maurice Duruflé’s gorgeous Requiem and Francis Poulenc’s lively and joyful Gloria.
With conductor David Cane, soprano soloist Kerry Firth, pianist Duncan Robertson and organist Gary Hulme, this is an occasion not to be missed.
The concert will be held at St Paul’s Church in Royton, OL2 5JS, from 4pm on Sunday, November 19.
Tickets cost £10 (children 12 and under £1) and are available from the Ticket Secretary on 0161 797 3583, from choir members, or on the door.
