The Oaklands and Meadows Residents Association received a welcome grant from Redrow
Community groups, charities, schools and good causes serving Oldham can apply for a community fund.
Redrow is inviting its new neighbours to share the £3,000 community fund to mark the opening of its new development, Bishop Meadows in Cowlishaw, Oldham.
The 25-acre development will include more than 200 homes, along with five acres of green space and its own orchard.
Sian Pitt, sales director at Redrow Lancashire, said: “Community is so very important, and we want to support and celebrate the good things that are going on in Oldham.
“The fund is open to all not-for-profit groups working within Oldham and serving the area of Cowlishaw.
"We have £3,000 to share, so we want to hear from them about how we can help.”
Previous Redrow funding has helped schools, charities, youth groups, sports teams and individuals at the very heart of the community, providing a range of resources including funds for a residents association, new camping equipment for a scouts group and a new kit for a junior football club.
All the new homes will hail from Redrow’s Arts and Crafts inspired Heritage Collection, in a range of three to five-bedroom designs.

The deadline for completed applications has been extended, closing at midnight on Friday, January 20, 2023.
