Oldham Summer Beach return promises fun-filled adventures

Fun-filled beach days are coming back to Oldham as the glorious Summer Beach returns to the town, promising exciting adventures for families for just £1!

After a massive turnout last year and excellent feedback from the beach go-ers, organizers are now returning with the 100 square meter decked beach attraction.

With daily entertainment and fantastic fun days planned, it’s a wonderful way to enjoy the school holidays and keep everyone entertained this summer.

Along with the MEGA 100sqm beach based at Alexandra Park, there will be children's inflatable’s and rides, Mega Inflatable’s for those a little bit older, a line-up of daily magic shows and fun, children's movies, weekend special entertainment, beach games, food stalls, there’s a picnic area with seating and much much more.

Last year’s event was organized by business owner Kris Longshaw who says that the Summer Beach will bring smiles to faces and is a great day out for a fantastic price, this year running from July 23 – September 4.

He said: “We are proud to return with the Summer Beach and because it was a huge success last year we already have lots of excited children ready to return with people keen to have a good day out in Oldham.

“We will be here throughout the summer holidays and there will be so much to do. We are able to keep the price down which is even better offering value for families who want to enjoy themselves.

“JK Events was praised last year and the beach went down well so we are looking forward to bringing it back again for the summer offering laughter, fun, magic and entertainment and for the kids, mums, dads, grandparents and more, it’s a great day out for the whole family.”

On the opening weekend there will be a Princesses theme giving children the opportunity to have a picture and meet with their favorite princesses.

The following weekend there will be a Dino Invasion where little ones can have a roarsome time interacting with some cool dinosaurs.

Kris added: “Smilie the clown will make a return and each weekend there will be a special guest theme such as the Princesses, Dino Invasion, Super Heroes, Greatest Showman and Abarettes.

"We all can’t wait to meet everyone again at the beach to make them smile and make some fantastic memories.”

Entrance is £1 and £2 on special event weekends.

Unlimited bounce wristbands for inflatable’s from £9 available from 11am to 5.30pm (tokens from 5.30 to 7pm at £2).

BEACH OPENS: 11am - 7pm each day.
