Work is to start 'imminently' on a new housing development in Shaw
Miller Homes has announced details of the 'Briar View' site, which they say will "bring a collection high quality, sustainable 3 and 4 bedroomed new build homes to the area designed with modern family life in mind."
The builder has now revealed what house hunters can expect, with a look at a number of 3 and 4 bedroom house types on offer as well as a closer look at the Carson, Cunningham, and Denham.
The Carson is an ideal family home with 3 bedrooms, a spacious living room and a kitchen diner with French doors to the rear.
The Cunningham is a spacious 4 bedroomed detached home with integral garage, an elegant lounge and large family kitchen with laundry room.
The Denham is a 4 bedroomed home with beautiful bay window and spacious integral garage.
Alongside a family kitchen and dining room, there is a walk-through dressing area upstairs, alongside a large en-suite principal bedroom.
Work on site will begin imminently with the first homes expected to be available to reserve this summer.
The show home, along with the first homes ready for occupation will follow towards the end of the year.
Miller Homes has revealed that other house types available on the Briar View development will include the Fordham, Grayson, and Harrison.
£100,000 will be contributed by Miller Homes to the council towards the enhancement of existing open space provision at High Crompton Park on Rochdale Road in Shaw.
Jonathan Steggles, Land Director for Miller Homes, said: “I’m very proud of the team for helping to get this land purchase over the line.
"We recognise Oldham as a very aspirational town with a charming and close knit community.
"We’re looking forward to becoming a part of it and supporting local schools and organisations as we go.”
Information will be released in the coming months on the Miller Homes website.
