Mike Procter and Andrew Illingworth have collected over £10,000 worth of moisturizer
Mike Procter, of the Saddleworth Round Table, and Andrew Illingworth, Sales Director at Widdop & Co, have collected over £10,000 worth of moisturizer, all destined for front line NHS staff at Oldham Hospital.
The Round Table Trojans launched a community-wide appeal to support the hard-pressed team.
Said Mike: “This is by far our largest contribution from a single donor towards our Help the NHS at Oldham Hospital and was the very first item all the staff asked for given the amount of handwashing they are doing.”
Stephen Illingworth, from Widdop & Co, said: "We are thrilled we could help and support the monumental efforts of our frontline NHS staff in tackling the COVID-19 crisis.
"We are pleased we had our Aromatherapy Company hand creams in stock and available to deliver quickly in these circumstances and we hope that they will in some way provide some small treat for these incredible people to indulge and look after themselves during such an intense period.
“All of the Widdop & Co family would like to thank you for all you are doing to care for all in our community."
