It was cupcakes galore when members of the fledgling Dovestone WI held their first Monday Meet Up.
The ladies held a workshop full of buttercream, sugar craft tools, fondant and excellent teaching in the cupcake art from Caroline Hird, a DWI member and master cake maker.
More than 20 women attended, and, as an added bonus, seven more ladies joined as members of Dovestone W.I.
The new creative evening is designed for members and guests to get involved in a range of activities, from reading, singing, crafting, making or just sitting chatting and drinking coffee.
The event was hosted by Emma Givvons at her bohemian cafe Reclamation Rooms in Uppermill.
The DWI next meeting is Monday 1st July, when Gwen Fletcher from the Stamp Pad in Greenfield, will host a card making workshop.
To attend, message DWI as places are limited.
