Oldham Camera Club
Members of Oldham Camera Club would like to thank all those who visited the exhibition held in Ebenezer Congregational Church, Uppermill, during the first bank holiday weekend in May.
The club were proud to see those who had previously visited and those visiting the exhibition for the first time.
They welcome all comments on their photography, especially over a cup of tea or coffee kindly served by members of the church.
The public voted for their favourite photograph out of the 113 on display.
A total of 262 votes very cast and the following are the top three.
Ist 32 votes No 19. Rebel Martyn Brophy
2nd 27 votes No 30. Beyond The Castle Door Marty Brophy
3rd = 12 votes No 37. Hope Grant Hirst
3rd = 12 votes No 65. Almost Human Martyn Brophy
3rd = 12 votes No 40. Morning Glory Martyn Brophy
This was the third year in a row that Martyn won the coveted Lancaster Trophy.
The exhibition was free with visitors making donations to the church defibrillator fund.
Club Chair, Mark Hirst was overwhelmed with the response and was able to hand over a total of £150 to Graham and Audrey and would like to thank everyone for donating to such a worthy cause.
