Blow away the Winter blues with a laugh out loud comedy

Mom’s Gift, by award-winning playwright Phil Olson, is coming to the Lyceum Theatre
The latest production at Lyceum Theatre Oldham continues their season of celebrations with an American comedy featuring a spooky twist.
Mom’s Gift, by award-winning playwright Phil Olson, is a comedy with heart, set in the Minnesota home of a family celebrating dad’s birthday under a cloud.
It runs at the Lyceum between February 1-9, 2019.
Kat has been ordered home by the court to celebrate with the family, but no one expects the gate-crasher to be her mom, especially as she’s been dead for 11 months!
Like It’s A Wonderful Life and Blithe Spirit, Mom is on a Mission of her own.
She just needs to work out what it is before she can fix her family.
Oh, and Kat is the only person who can see her!
You’ll laugh and cry, feeling all the emotions of the characters on stage.
Hopefully you’ll go home and tell someone you love them. It’s that kind of play.
Director Phil Harrison is new to Lyceum Theatre Oldham, but well known to audiences at other local theatres as an actor as well as Director.
The six-strong cast is multi-generational and a mix of new faces and old hands, promising a great night out for all the family.
The show runs from February 1-9 at 7.30pm (there is no performance on Sunday, February 3).
All tickets cost £9. To book yours, log on to: lyceumtheatre.org.uk or call the box office number: 0161 628 2118.
