The Dr Kershaw's Christmas Extravaganza takes place on November 25
There are lots of fund-raising events in aid of Dr Kershaw’s Hospice this Christmas period.
The Dr Kershaw’s Christmas Extravaganza takes place on Sunday, November 25 (12pm-4pm) at the Hospice.
Visit Santa in his grotto, make a bear in the Dr Kershaw’s bear factory and visit all the Christmas market stalls which will include crafts, gifts, food and much more.
Adults’ entry costs £1, Children enter free.
Buy a raffle ticket to be in with a chance of winning a 32” Panasonic LED TV, a retro audio turntable, Schwarzkopf haircare hamper and lots more Christmas hampers.
The Christmas Concert takes place on Thursday, November 29 at Oldham Parish Church on Rock Street.
Doors open at 6:30pm, with the concert starting at 7pm.
Get along for a spectacular evening of Christmas carols, songs and music, with performances set to come from Lydgate Brass Band, soloist Jon Crebbin, Kershaw’s Crooners, Thornham St James’ School Choir, Hope Singers and more.
Adults’ entry costs £7, Concession £5, Family (two adults, two children) £18 (price includes a programme on the night).

The Light up a Life Service provides an opportunity for everyone to unite and support each other, and will take place at the Hospice on Sunday, December 2, from 7pm.
This event is outdoors so please wear appropriate clothing.
After Christmas, Dr Kershaw’s then offer their tree recycling service.
Staff can collect your Christmas tree on January 5 and 6, 2019, from OL1, OL2, OL3, OL4, OL8 and OL9 postcodes.
