Join Saddleworth museum’s remembrance of 100 years since the end of WW1
The next Takeaway Tuesday event at Saddleworth Museum goes with the theme of ‘Make Do and Mend’ family crafts on Tuesday, October 30, between 1-4pm.
Join the museum’s remembrance of 100 years since the end of WW1.
Have a go at some Make Do and Mend crafts inspired by the museum's wartime displays and contribute to the WW1 remembrance tree.
You can find out how people recycled in the war, use rag-rugging to make colourful mats from fabric scraps or sew poppies to take home and add to the remembrance tree.
Craft activities are included in price of museum admission (£2 concession, £3 adult, £6 family 2+2).
