Oldham Council has launched “The Big Green Survey” - its biggest ever environmental poll, designed to help residents have their say on key green issues.
Advertised via Facebook and available at: www.oldham.gov.uk/greenoldham, the survey will help gain a better understanding of what is important to residents in these key areas.
It’s all part of the Green Oldham campaign, which is running throughout 2018 and beyond and is designed to showcase the very best of Oldham’s environment.
Cllr Abdul Jabbar, Deputy Leader of Oldham Council, came up with the Green Oldham campaign.
He said: “We’ve had a fantastic response to the Green Oldham campaign so far with more than 20,000 people watching our videos on Facebook so it’s great to see how passionately residents care about the environment.
“Now we want to hear from you on a range of key green topics like wildlife, parks, food growth, energy, recycling and air quality.
"This is a great chance for people to let us know what they think.
“As a council we can’t solve every environmental issue but what we can do is listen and do our bit– that’s what The Big Green Survey is all about.
“I hope people will fill it in and we’ll report back the answers.”
