The Chronicle has joined forces with organisers of the rally, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday, June 16 and 17, to offer two lucky winners family passes (value £24 each) to the event.
This year the rally has secured a wide range of live performances from groups well known throughout the North West, including John Lennon’s Quarrymen who will take to the stage on the Saturday.
Crowd pullers Mike and the Sunrockers will also open and close the music programme with their authentic rock ‘n’ roll sounds.
This year the rally will also see the 12th century brought back to life when members of the re-enactment society Historia Normannis will set up camp at the showground.

Show-goers will also be invited to join former Marvel Comics writer and editor, Tim Quinn for a lesson in creating comic book characters.
Having worked on titles including the Beano, Dandy, Spider Man and X-Men, he will help visitors to the create a new super hero based on their life.
The West Lancashire Dog display team will once again be putting our four legged friends through their paces as will Jema Leopold with her amazing performing horses.
