Saddleworth's Heritage Walks will offer a breath of fresh air

The Pots and Pans History Walk starts at the Saddleworth Museum on July 28
The Saddleworth Museum and Gallery Heritage Walks return soon, starting with the 4.5 mile 'In Ammon Wrigley's Footsteps' event on Saturday, May 12.
Discover the trail and remnants of buildings that were once home to Ammon Wrigley, local dialect poet and historian.
The walk starts at Castleshaw Centre car park, Delph, at 10am prompt (lasts until 4pm).
It is a medium to hard walk with rough field walking.
Please bring lunch, drinks and good footwear.
On Saturday, June 9 (again 10am-4pm), the Chew Valley Tramway Heritage Walk leaves from the Clarence Hotel car park in Greenfield.
You can discover the route and history of Chew Valley Tramway, which was built to aid the construction of the Chew reservoir.
The 4.5 mile Pots and Pans History Walk start from the Saddleworth Museum, Uppermill, at 10am prompt on Saturday, July 28.
This is a medium speed walk, taking in around one mile per hour, where participants will discover Running Hill quarries, the site of an early water mill.
You can also hear stories of Chew Valley during what is set to be a breath-taking walk over Saddleworth's Pots and Pans.
The cost for each walk is just £3 per person.
