Can you help fill some of these golfing trophy gaps?

Local golf legends Les Lawton and Alan Squires with the District Scratch Championship trophy
A golf group that organises the sport’s ‘major’ competitions in Oldham is seeking the help of the public to solve some omissions on its 100-year-old trophies.
The Oldham and District Golf Association is made up of five local clubs – Brookdale, Crompton and Royton, Oldham, Saddleworth and Werneth.
And the trophies they play for include the District Scratch 36-hole Championship and the Centenary Trophy - the District Championship dates back to 1903.
There is a plan to establish honours boards in each of the five clubs to acknowledge the achievements of the winners.
However, in some of the years, only the player's name has been engraved on the trophy and not his home club.
A total of 45 names were on an original “missing years” list, but 27 of these have now been identified.
Now ODGS secretary David Whaley is looking for help in putting a club to the names of the final 18 so that the records are complete when the new boards are commissioned.
“Hopefully readers might recognise a family member and know which club they played at and it would ensure they get a place on the new honours boards,” said David.
