A busy week of Lancashire and Cheshire Amateur Football League fixtures saw several title races decided and others nearing their climax.
It’s still all to play for in Division One as Sale Amateurs lead the way after a 5-1 win at Bury Ams.
Chadderton Park stay three points behind after a hard-earned 4-3 win at basement club Stoconians.
The other game saw Village Manchester stay in the mix with an impressive 7-1 win ay AFC Boarshaw.
Moston Brook reserves clichéd the Division Two title, but were taken all the way by AFC Oldham before maintaining their unbeaten record, winning by the odd goal in seven.
Division Three leaders Dukinfield Athletic were without a game, but look odds-on to secure the title.
They stay six points clear of Spurley Hey with a game in hand after Hey edged a 1-0 win at Woodhouses.
Staly Lions stay in third place after winning 2-0 over a youthful Santos.
An excellent local derby at AFC Oldham reserves saw visiting Saddleworth 3D won 4-3.
Milnrow Firgrovia won their Division A basement battle with Oldham Saints 7-3.
