The football team at Royton Hall Primary School show off their new kits
Housebuilder Kellen Homes has kicked off its community commitment with the delivery of a new kit to the football team at Royton Hall Primary School.
Aspiring footballers from the school’s year three and year four teams put their new strip to the test when they took part in an inter-school challenge at Latics.
The children proudly donned their blue kits provided by Kellen Homes and took to the pitch.
They played exceptionally well and enjoyed every minute!
Kellen Homes have built the new homes at Vernon Gardens off Radcliffe Street, just around the corner from the primary school, and stepped in to provide the new kit when they heard the school was in need.
Kellen Homes Head of Sales and Marketing, Mollie Tomlinson, said: “Kellen Homes builds homes and communities, and so it’s incredibly important to us that we support the local community and it’s an absolute pleasure to give these footballers of the future a lovely new kit.
"We heard their old kits were getting a bit tired and it was our pleasure to help out.
“Vernon Gardens is in the heart of Royton and in the catchment area for some great local schools and we are committed to supporting the local community in whatever way we can.”
Royton Hall Primary School Head Teacher, Tracy Wood, thanked Kellen Homes for the kits.
She said: “We have lots of very competitive football teams here at the school and we regularly take part in tournaments where we need to play and look our absolute best.
"These football strips are a huge boost to the children and the school, and we are very grateful to Kellen Homes for their support.”
