Greater Manchester Women’s League

Chadderton Park under-18s Lionesses finally got their first win of the season at the sixth attempt thanks to an empathic 9-1 hammering of Moss Lane Rovers.

Megan Shaughnessy opened the scoring, but Moss Lane were soon level.

Lucy Reeves coolly slotted home to make it 2-1, then Courtney Hopwood rifled home.

Cameron Eastwood made it 4-1, before Leigha Cook slotted home into an open goal from close range.

Reeves then broke away to score her second to make it 6-1.

Eastwood added her second to make it 7-1, before Shaughnessy drilled the ball into the bottom corner for her second of the game.

Reeves completed her hat-trick late on.

North Manchester Girls’ League

Chadderton Park under-14s Girls beat Oldham Athletic Girls and Women’s U-14s 3-2.

Jenna Ford, Annie Taylor and Emily Parsons were on target.

North Bury League

Chadderton Park under-15s Lions suffered their first league defeat of the season, 3-1 away at Atherton Colliers AFC.

Antonios Koiloropoulos was the goalscorer.

Park’s under-14s Griffins reached the next round of the Main Cup with 3-2 win at home to Littleborough Blues.

Joe Dewhurst, Jacob May and James Litten were on target for the Griffins.

Park’s under-12s Lions progressed to the third round of the Main Cup with a 6-2 win over Pennine Junior Black.

Henry Peacock (two), Jake Crosswaite, Blaine Matthews, Oliver Potts and Theo Andrew provided the firepower.

East Manchester Junior League - Sunday

Chadderton Park under-12s Griffins beat Moston Vipers 1-0 thanks to Jack Matterson.

Park’s under-15s Lions enjoyed a 5-3 win at home to Heyside Juniors.

David Osiobe, Lewis North (two), Kristian Walker and Dalton Martins were on the mark.
