Royton pot starlet Ryan Davies has reached two national tournament finals.
Newman College student Ryan, aged 15, will contest both the English under-18s and England under-16s snooker championship finals in Gloucester across the weekend of June 9 and 10.
In the English under-18s championship regional final at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds last weekend, Ryan produced a number of 50-plus breaks on his way to a comfortable 5-2 victory against Aidan Stannyland.
He now takes on Riley Parsons in the national final.
In the under-16 showpiece, Ryan - who has a top competition break of 130 despite his tender years - will take on southern-based Bradley Cowdroy after nailing qualification last month.
As proud dad Martin starts to plot Ryan’s path after his forthcoming school exams are over, he is already seek potential future sponsors.

The talented youngster continues to practise regularly at the Oldham Snooker Academy, which is based inside the Osborne Mill on Waddington Street.
