Delph professional boxing prospect Andy Kremner
The cameras will be focused firmly on exciting Delph professional boxing prosepct Andy Kremner on Friday night when he targets glory in an exciting new eight-man tournament.
The Matthew Hatton-trained prospect takes part in ‘Ultimate Boxxer’ at Manchester Arena.
The winner of three fights will walk away with the top prize – and gain plenty of exposure.
The quarter-finals are being shown live on the internet on Uni Lad and the semi finals and final are on 5 Spike.
5 Spike reaches millions of fans, giving Kremner the chance to give his profile a massive boost.
The 25-year-old said: “This is the chance I’ve been waiting for.
“5 Spike reaches millions of people and hopefully they are all going to find out a bit more about me on Friday night.”
Kremner has been handed a tough-looking quarter-final draw.
He meets Sunderland’s Isaac Macleod, a former amateur star who has also won all his nine fights in the paid ranks so far.
Kremner and Macleod are two of the favourites to win ‘Ultimate Boxxer’ – and Kremner is determined not to let his fans down.
“The Manchester Arena is somewhere I’ve always wanted to box,” he said.
“This is a huge night for me and if everyone gets behind me.
"I’m sure I can win and make Manchester and Oldham proud.”
