Oldham firm achieves Gold Medal in the 2024 EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment

EcoVadis evaluates companies on four key themes: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement
Armacell, a global leader in flexible foam for the equipment insulation market and a leading provider of engineered foams, has announced that its Oldham plant has been awarded a Gold Medal in the 2024 EcoVadis sustainability assessment.
That places it among the top 5% of more than 130,000 companies assessed globally.
EcoVadis evaluates companies on four key themes: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
This Gold Medal recognition places Oldham in the 97th percentile globally, highlighting its outstanding commitment to sustainability and its comprehensive management systems for policy formulation, implementation and results reporting.
“This Gold Medal is a testament to the commitment of the entire Oldham team and highlights our position as a sustainability leader,” said Andrew Holmes, GM UK and Ireland.
“It inspires us to keep pursuing excellence in environmental, ethical and sustainable business practices.”
Founded in 2007, EcoVadis assesses more than 130,000 companies across 180 countries and 220 industries, making it the largest and most trusted sustainability rating provider.
