Retail giants JD set to increase its Oldham presence

The new JD store has already created 12 new jobs for the local community
JD, the leading retailer of sports, fashion and lifestyle brands, is set to upscale its presence in Oldham with a bigger and better store set to open at Oldham Elk Mill Shopping Park this weekend (Saturday, June 1).
Re-enforcing its status as the leading trainer and sports fashion retailer in the UK, JD will ensure local residents and shoppers alike are provided with their fix of all their favourite brands including Nike, Adidas, The North Face and Under Armour.
The new home for the store will introduce a larger range of products, rivalling the offering available in JD stores across the country.
What’s more, the new store has already created 12 new jobs for the local community.
JD is encouraging consumers to head into the new store on the opening weekend from Saturday to Sunday, June 2 to explore the new space.
DJ’s across the weekend will provide the ultimate shopping soundtrack, whilst shoppers can also try their hand at the JD Batak game, with the shopper who manages to hit the most buttons within the allotted timeframe winning a £50 JD voucher each day.
There will also be complementary customisation across the weekend, with those who purchase footwear given the option to have custom laces and lace ends added to their new kicks.
Trading hours:
· Monday to Friday - 9am to 8pm
· Saturday - 9am to 7pm
· Sunday - 11am - 5pm
