Oldham-based toy company Character Options Ltd is celebrating as three of its latest toys have been awarded DreamToy status.
DreamToys – the annual list of top toys for Christmas – is voted for by an expert panel of retailers, with only 20 toys receiving the accolade this year.
Every November, the hotly anticipated list is revealed with media, retailers, parents and kids alike all being influenced by the prestigious status of ‘DreamToy’.
With toy companies across the industry all vying for a place on the list, the Character Options team – based in Lees – are thrilled to be suppliers, distributors, and marketeers of the following:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem Pizza Fire Van: this multi-feature toy vehicle has kids recreating all their favourite scenes from hit blockbuster movie.
Fingerlings: the baby monkeys with 70+ sounds and reactions! These adorable characters wrap around your finger for interactive fun.
Dog-E: the one-in-a-million robot dog perfect for tech-savvy kids. Choose from a million combinations to make Dog-E truly unique to you.
Jerry Healey, Group Marketing Director at Character Options, said: “It’s great to see Fingerlings, Dog-E and the TMNT PizzaFire Van make the coveted DreamToys list.
"It’s a huge honour and we’re delighted to be flying the flag for Oldham.
“We are very proud of the entire team, whose hard work and commitment in supplying and marketing these toys has made this a reality.”
