More than 120 businesses and entrepreneurs attended Franks Rothwell’s third Businesses Breakfast at the Oldham Event Centre.
The theme of the event was Innovation – focusing on how local businesses can innovate and collaborate with one another in an ever-changing business landscape.
Leader of the Council, Cllr Arooj Shah, delivered a short presentation on what the exciting plans are for the town and attendees got to hear from other businesses on what they are doing to innovate.
Cllr Shah formed part of a panel for a Q&A session which included Robert Allan, Director of Stream Measurements, Dr Marilyn, CEO of Manchester Innovation Activities Hub, Ryan Williams, co-founder and former co-owner of Komi Group, and Yvonne Grady from the Growth Company.
There are more business breakfast events planned for the future, and they’re always free to attend.
